"Topics on compressible Navier-Stokes equations"

The French Mathematic Society (SMF) organizes a five days meeting in the framework of Etats de la Recherche sessions.

This meeting will take place in LAMA Laboratory, in Le Bourget du Lac from 21 to 25 May, 2012. Il will consist of 4 mini-courses (4:00 each) and 10 talks (0:40 each).

The main objective of this session will be to inform each other about emergent theories, specially for non-specialist people. The audience will be constituted of mathematicians (at least master), PhD students and reseachers, not necessarily specialists of the subject.

This session is dedicated to Professor A.V. Kazhikhov.

The organizers apologize to have not been able to invite several internationally well-known mathematicians (especially russian researchers) who have efficiently worked on topics around compressible Navier-Stokes equations and who are closed to Alexandre Kazhikhov (collaborators, phD students, friends of him).
